Savagnin Blanc Château Maison Blanche
Grand Cru Yvorne AOC Chablais white wine
This grape variety comes from French Jura. There it gives the famous vins jaunes. In Switzerland, it grows in Valais region of the highest Visperteminen vineyard and is named Païen or Heida. It is a peculiarity in Vaud area.
This savagnin has a golden colour, citrus fruits, exotic fruits and honey bouquet. In the mouth it is supple first then becoming strong and structured, salty and mineral later.
Served at 10° C, it goes well with shellfish or fish in gravy.
