The wines of Château Maison Blanche are strong and refined. They due their quintessence to the chalky and clayey ground made of the rests of the rock fall from the Tour d’Aï which destroyed the village on the 4th of March 1584.
For the estate, it was a chance because the fall entirely covered the ground, changing it into a unique terroir.
To testify the 1609’s restoration of the Château, an engraved stone was placed above the front door.
Then, for four hundred years the Château Maison Blanche has been symbolizing the Yvorne’s vineyard with its beauty, its eventful history and its magic.
